President Joe Biden speaks in Normandy at Pointe du Hoc on the importance of democracy as the 80th anniversary of the Normandy D-Day invasion occurs.

“I’ve long said that history has shown that ordinary Americans can do the most extraordinary things. And there’s no better example of that in the entire world than right here at Pointe du Hoc” — President Joe Biden. Democracy is at the forefront once again with the anniversary of the D-Day invasion at Normandy and the upcoming 2024 election in the United States of America.

Joe Biden- “As we gather here today, it’s not just to honor those who showed such remarkable bravery that day June 6, 1944. It’s to listen to the echo of their voices. To hear them. Because they are summoning us, they ask us what we will do. They’re not asking us to scale these cliffs. They’re asking us to stay true to what America stands for.”

President Biden is developing similarities between the more than 150,000 Allied troops who fought for the liberation of Europe from Adolf Hitler’s Nazis on June 6, 1944, and Ukraine’s present fight against Russia’s raging 27-month invasion. This Urkanian invasion may hold the key to future Russian movements.
